About Us

Background: Edgewood Believers Fellowship is an independent, charismatic Christian family church founded in August 1981 by Tim and Christine Hackett. Our vision is to impact the East Mountain area with the Word of God and to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout our region, our state, and the world.

Ministering to People: We consider it a great privilege and an awesome responsibility to have the opportunity to minister to you and your family. We believe that when people's hearts are changed, they will make a difference in this world. We are committed to imparting God's Word through every available avenue to adults, teenagers, and children, even babies. All of our outreach begins with and flows from this foundation of ministry. Jesus came to bring salvation and wholeness to every area of our lives and offered Himself to all ages. We want to help you and your family grow to new levels of life in Him. Single or married, large family or small, young or old, you are important to God and you are important to us. God has given us a heart for people.

Services: Our services feature dynamic and uplifting praise and worship, and anointed Bible teaching for all ages. We place a real focus on making disciples through teaching from the Word of God. We want every believer to be secure in the love and the grace of God and to be equipped for the work of the ministry. We are all called to the ministry of reconciliation, helping people everywhere be reconciled to God through the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible refers to various expressions of worship and ministry you may experience during our services such as the following: lifting holy hands (1 Timothy 2:8); singing in the Spirit (1 Cor. 14:15); singing and making melody in the heart (Eph 5:19; dancing (Psalms 149:3); and the operation of spiritual gifts (1 Cor. 12 and 14) See chapters in the Bible. We encourage you to open your heart to God and to the moving of His Spirit in our services. There is great joy and refreshing that comes from being in the presence of the Lord.
