My Friends,
It is good to be able to say that. To have so many friends is a good thing in life and being part of the Body of Christ is the source of so many good things.
Bryan will be back in the pulpit on Sunday and I can't wait. But I hope I was able to bless and instruct in his absence.
Just a couple updates:
God bless you for praying for our enrollment and please keep it up. School starts on Monday and I think it will be a great year. We had an awesome teacher's organizational meeting. I came away from it knowing I picked the best people for the job, all by the grace of God.

If you would put in one last plug for the Nursery Workers' Meeting. I don't know that there are any EBFers who are interested in serving but haven't yet made the commitment; but Linda would really like them to know that they are welcome, too.
And for the CC Yard Sale:
Bring it on! The Children's Church is ready and waiting for your donations of "GOOD STUFF" for their upcoming Yard Sale on Saturday, September 6, from 8am to 1pm in the EBF Parking Lot. Bring your salable items (clean, working, and in good condition) to the CC anytime that the church or school is open through September 5. We also have unlimited openings for helpers to sort, price, set up and tear down. Don't miss this opportunity to support our kidz ministry (and to get first chance at the great stuff we'll have for sale)!
For a new shcool year, that is? Seems like we are always getting ready for some new thing. Hope you are getting ready for God's new kingdom. It is going to be a major kick!
If you didn't register for 'Enter" with us, you just missed it. We will bring back the excitement with us though, so not to worry.
I am sincerely requesting that some of you who need to be needed will respond to our need for helpers and contributors to our Chat Room. I have asked repeatedly for donations hoping for a response, but as of yet, no one has stepped up. I assume we all like the Chat Room and would like to see it prosper. So HELP, please? We need regular donations of candy, gum, coffee, sodas, hot dogs, buns, frozen pretzels and periodic batches of soup, burritos, sandwiches and the like for Weds. nights.
