Just kidding!
I personally thought Bryan did an awesome job with the "woman question". If you didn't hear the sermon, make sure you get the CD.
FYI-
- Wednesday discussion and DVD is on 'vision'. Last week's teaching is one of my favorite. This is another one. It really helped me understand how to 'see' in the Spirit and that it is normal for believers to do so. I will leave time at the end for questions and discussion.
Karen Adams is bringing chicken for the Chat Room tomorrow. Thanks Karen!
- I STILL need some volunteers for Chat Room.
-for food donations
-for helpers
- Keep the Camp kids in prayer this week. I am believing God to make a huge difference for each one as they learn and worship together. Pray for the helpers especially our Youth Pastor as they manage, discipline and lead these kids into greater relationship with Jesus.
- Men's meeting this Saturday is also a 'work day'. Stan Gehman should be calling you with details.
- Staff Meeting after church on Sunday!
The Body of Christ needs all of us. We are handicapped when you are absent or uninvolved. Plus those who are filling the gaps get burned out. Bryan said it well last Sunday. "Those who do nothing in the Body usually end up fading away" That is so true. The only actual PAIN that a leader endures in ministry is the lack of faithful helpers and disciples.
Ways to be involved-Be Faithful
- Children's Church, GAM and Nursery workers
- Teachers of God's Word
- Run the computer for the music words when needed
- Greeters/Ushers
- Phone callers
- Helpers for men's and women's meetings
- Chat Room volunteers and givers
- PR people
- Maintenance and grounds clean up
And probably a dozen other ways that I haven't mentioned.
Did I tell you that I love you??? That is so true too.
Christine
